Michael Anthony Hall was born in 1968 on 14th April to Mercedes Hall and Larry. His mother’s and father’s careers were a blue-jazz singer and auto-body-shop owner, respectively. Hall was only six months old when his parents separated. He was their only child. His birthplace was West Roxbury which is a neighbourhood in Boston, Massachusetts. He and his mother left for West Coast but later relocated to New York City.
His mother remarried to a show business manager named Thomas Chestaro. That marriage led to the birth of his half-sister known as Mary Chestaro.
