David Schwimmer Early Life
Born as David Lawrence Schwimmer, on November 2, 1966, to Arthur and Arlene Coleman Schwimmer, in New York, he moved to LA where he had his first experience of acting when he was 10 years old and acted as the fairy godmother in Cinderella which was a Jewish version. In 1979, he attended a Shakespeare workshop which mesmerised him, and he entered the contest in the Southern California Shakespeare Festival for three years where he won two first prizes.
He attended Beverly Hills High School, and after graduation, he flew to Chicago to attend college at the North-western University where he studied theatre. In 1988, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree and co-founded the Lookingglass Theatre Company.
