Steve-O Early Life
Born on June 13, 1974, in Wimbledon, London, to Donna Gay and Richard Glover, Stephen travelled a lot due to the nature of his father’s job. He went to the American School in London. He then went on to study in the University of Miami. After dropping out from there, he went to the University of New Mexico. He eventually graduated from Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College in 1997.
Towards the later part of his career, he was charged with illegal possession of cocaine. His drug use and his bipolar personality contributed to erratic behaviour which led to his suicide attempt.
He has since then been in and out of rehab and mental institutions to combat his demons.

Stephen used to send videos of himself performing in the Fort Lauderdale Swap Shop to the editor of Big Brother magazine, Jeff Tremaine. The latter eventually cast him in the MTV series, Jackass. It was loved by the audiences and it resulted in five spin-off movies: Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two, Jackass 2.5, Jackass 3D, Jackass 3.5.
In 2001, Steve-O released a DVD, titled, Don’t Try This at Home which contained all the material that had been censored by MTV while airing the show.
