West was born in 1983 on 26th July in Washington DC(United States). He belongs to an African American family. He went to Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Greenbelt, Maryland). West along with James Nelson formed what called the best backcourt in the entire country. Joseph was made to the Elite Eight due to West’s effort.
