Jon Dorenbos Early Life
Jonathan Paul Dorenbos aka Jon Dorenbos was born on July 21, 1980, in Humble, Texas. He was born to parents, Kathy and Alan who was a software specialist. Jon grew up in Woodinville, Washington. Jon had quite a horrible and traumatizing childhood.
When Jon was twelve, his father Alan killed his mother, Kathy. His father was in the prison for almost 14 years. Soon after his mother was killed, Jon was sent to a Foster home. It was his uncle Steve Hindman and aunt Susan Hindman, after a legal battle, got a custody of him.
Jon used magic to ease his mind and kept himself occupied. Jon did his schooling from Pacific High School in Garden Grove, California. He loved playing sports and was good almost every sport including, Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Hockey. He was an honor roll student on Dean’s list and has won all-league honors in Football and Baseball.
Jon Dorenbos attended Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California. It was his best friend who introduced him to University of Texas at El Paso. Jon’s friend informed him about the vacancy of the long snapper. Even after never being played as a long snapper, he made a video of him playing as a long snapper and sent it to the coach at UTEP. He eventually got selected at UTEP.
Jon Dorenbos has been married twice. First, he was married to Julie Dorenbos. Jon and Julie got married in 2010. Apparently, the church they got married was the same church where the movie, The Sixth Sense was shot. Within five years, the couple got divorced. He then married his second wife Annalisa Dorenbos. After the college, Jon Dorenbos was signed by Buffalo Bills. He started his NFL career by playing against the New England Patriots. The first season at the Bills was successful but in his second season, he got injured and was placed on the injured reserve list. It was this injury that led the Bills to trade him to Tennessee Titans. But again the injury was the problem and Titans released him as a free agent.
Jon signed a two years contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. Again came one more blow, he suffered a horrible career-ending neck injury but luckily got recovered at the end of the season. After the recovery, his game came up to the full speed and his performance got better, so Eagles extended his contract. He became the longest-tenured player for Eagles.
Recently he was diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm.
