Steffi Graf Early Life
Steffi Graf was born as Stefanie Maria Graf on 14th June 1969 in West Germany. Her parents are Heidi Schalk and Peter Graf. Her father was a salesman and also her first tennis coach. She has a younger brother Michael Graf.
Steffi was introduced to tennis by her father at the age of 3. By the time she was 5 she had started competing in tournaments. After having won the European championship in 1982 Steffi quit school to concentrate fully on her professional tennis career.
