Steve Austin Stone Cold was born in 1964 on 18th. December to James and Beverly Anderson who gave him the name Steven James Anderson. At the age of around, his parents divorced. His birthplace was Austin, Texas but after the separation, they moved to Victoria, Texas.
In 1968, his mother remarried to James Williams. Consequently, Austin adopted his step father’s surname. He went ahead and legally changed his name to Steven James Williams.
He has four siblings namely Scott, Jeff, Kevin, and Jennifer. As a child, he mostly resided in Edna, Texas.
Austin attended Edna High School. He was offered a football scholarship to Wharton County Junior College. Later, he got a full scholarship at the University of North Texas.

The following year, Stone Cold made his debut in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He together with Brian Pillman formed a team and gave it the name The Hollywood Blonds. Stone Cold was fired by Eric Bischoff who was the Vice President of WCW in 1995.
After termination of his job of the WCW, he was hired by Hetman to do in-ring interviews at the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW).
