Jeanie Marie Buss was born on September 21, 1961, in Santa Monica, California. She was born to her father, Jerry Buss, and mother, Joana Buss. Her father is a real estate investor who later owed LA Lakers and other sports business. Her parents got divorced when Buss was eleven years old. She grew in Santa Monica with three siblings.
