Terence Thomas Kevin O’Leary is the son of an Irish father Terry O’Leary and a Lebanese mother Georgette who gave birth to him in 1954 in Quebec Canada. He has a brother whom they were raised with. The father divorced his mother when he was a child and later died of alcoholism.
O’Leary mother by profession was a business executive, a very skilled investor and after the death of her husband she married George Kanawaty whom due to the nature of his job caused the family to relocate to many areas but O’Leary went to Stanstead College, St. George’s School, University of Waterloo where he graduated with a B.A in environmental studies and completed his studies at university of Western Ontario where he graduated with an MBA in entrepreneurship.

The loss was bad and Mattel sued O’Leary for misleading them but he disputed the charges.
He then invested in StorageNow Holdings for $500k and sold his shares later for $4.5 million. Kevin has also established other projects among them is O’Leary Funds which has over $1 billion capital, O’Leary Ventures, and ETF and investing.
