Gary Keller was born on July 21, 1957, in Pasadena, Texas, USA. Both of his parents were school teachers and therefore, instilled in him the value of education from an early age. Following his father’s promotion to the post of a high school administrator, the family moved to North Shore, just outside of Houston, Texas.
