Born into a family deeply rooted in music residing in Kent on 3rd January 1946, John Paul Jones began to learn to play the piano from a very young age from his pianist father, Joe Baldwin. Since both his parents were somehow related to music, John got various opportunities to perform and tour around England as part of his parents musical commitments.
Due to the frequent relocations around the country, John had to attend a boarding school in Blackheath called Christ’s college where he learnt music. By the time he turned 14, John had become the choirmaster of the local church where he also played the organ.
