Joey Chestnut was born on November 25, 1983, in Fulton County, United States. He attended the San Jose State University in San Jose. He graduated in 2012. Joey Chestnut started his career as a competitive eater in 2005, he participated in the deep-fried asparagus eating championship in which he emerged a winner after beating award-winning competitive eater Rich LeFevre.
