Early Life
Rand Howard Paul was born in 1963 on 7th January in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the United States. He is a son of Ron Paul from whom he took his career as a physician and politician. His father was a United States Representative from Texas and is known to have run for the seat of presidency for three attempts. Paul’s mother is called Carol.
Rand was raised in a family of five children where he is the third born child. His family members include Lori Paul Pyeatt, Joy Paul, Ronnie and Robert Paul.
Howard’s first name did not come up as a result of fictions book writer Ayn Rand. Rand grew up with the name Randy only to be changed by his spouse as Rand.
In 1968 his family migrated to Lake Jackson in Texas where his father took a role as a medical practitioner and eventually an obstetrician. When Rand was thirteen years of age, his father became an elected member of the United States House of Representatives. This gave Rand a chance of going to be Republican National Convention of 1976 where his father was a leader of Ronald Reagan delegation from Texas.
Paul attended Brazoswood High School and was a football player there. From high six, Paul enrolled in Baylor University between 1981 and 1984 for the honours degree program. In Baylor University Rand were an active member of swimming group and an activist of Young Conservatives of Texas among others.

Career
Randy got a job at Downing Mc Peak Vision Centre. He worked there before diverting to other areas for five years. From Downing, Paul was offered a job at Graves Albert clinic. He worked here for ten years. Rand established his own business which was later combined with Downing’s medical practice following Rand’s busy scheduled when he was elected as a senator from Kentucky. In 2009 Paul went to the field of politics to replace Jim Bunning of Kentucky by then. He wanted to go for the seat in a Republic Party Ticket.
Paul became a Senate member in 2011, 5th January together with his father in two different houses. Paul was given several responsibilities in the house including Energy and Natural resources committee member among other essential dockets.
Rand also formed a movement called Senate Tea Party Caucus. He excelled very well in his seat to win popularity from many. Paul has moved several motions in the House of Senate regarding sensitive issues.
