Big Daddy Kane was born on September 10, 1968, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York City, USA. His father, a truck driver and his mother, Ruth Bradley, a registered nurse moved from Albee Square to Bedford after he was born and he went on to grow up there.
