Yo Gotti Early Life
Born on May 19, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee, Mario has had a difficult childhood, growing up in one of the notorious crime-ridden districts, in the Ridgecrest Apartments of Frayser. His entire family were hustlers, and so he was introduced to a life of crime from the very beginning.
He began to rap when he was just 14 years old, with DJ Sound and his crew.

In 2012, he released his first studio album called, Live From The Kitchen. “5 Star”, which was the first single from the album, was released as early as 2009. The Song charted at a decent number 79 in the Hot 100. The second single from this album, “Women Lie, Men Lie”, created in collaboration with Lil Wayne was released at the end of 2009. The third single, “Look In the Mirror” was released seven months later, in 2010. The album itself debuted at number 12 on Billboard 200.
