Emil Lewandowski aka Cory Wells was born on February 5, 1941, in Buffalo, New York, U.S. During his childhood, Cory faced many difficulties as his father died when Cory was very young. Being a single mother Cory’s mother faced many problems until she remarried. At the age of 18, Cory adopted the last name of his late father from Lowendowski to Wells.
He had seen worst in his childhood. His stepfather used to beat him and abuse him. While studying at high school, Cory joined several local bands and used to perform at the Buffalo area. After his graduation from high school, Cory joined the U.S. Air Force. He created a band of interracial musicians during his tenure in the Air Force. In a very short span of time, the band became famous. As a result, they become the house band at one of the most famous nightclub called Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood.
The Enemy band also got the opportunity to appear in famous television shows like The Beverly Hillbillies and Burke’s Law.
