Prince Royce was born in Bronx, New York City on May 11, 1989 to Angela Rojas and Ramon Royce. His father was a taxi driver and his mother worked at a beauty salon. He had three siblings. His parents were from Dominican Republic.

On July 2013 his song ‘Darte un Beso’ reached no.1 on multiple Latin charts and was certified three time platinum. In December 2014 his Studio Album ‘Double Vision’ was released. Its song ‘Stuck on a feeling’ became best performing single in US to date reaching no. 43 on Billboard Hot 100.
