Scott Stapp was born in 1973 on 8th August as Anthony Scott Flippen. His birthplace was Orlando, Florida, the United States of America. He is the son of Lynda and the stepson of Steven Stapp. Steven is a dentist.
Between 1996 and 1997, Stapp was the husband of Hillaree Burns. After their 16-month marriage ended, he got full custody of his son Jagger. Later, he remarried Jaclyn Nesheiwat in 2006 on 11th February. She is a model and the winner of the 2004 Miss New York USA. Their firstborn was a daughter whom they welcomed into the world in 2007 on 4th January. They gave her the name Milan Hayat Stapp. Their second born was Daniel Issam born in 2010 on 4th July. Scott Stapp Career
He and Mark Tremonti formed a band called Creed. Later, they were joined by Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall as a drummer and bassist, respectively. Between 1993 and 1994, Brian Brasher was a member of the group as their rhythm guitarist.
Their debut album titled My Prison was released in 1997. Its singles involved the title track, What’s This Life For, Torn and One. Two years later, they released a second one named Human Clay. Brett Hestla replayed Marshall after the conflict between the latter and Stapp. In 2001, they released another one titled Weathered. It seemed like Scott against the rest when the band was disbanded IN 2004.
Months later, they reunited, and in 2009, they released Full Circle. However, he also started doing solo projects. Stapp released his debut solo album titled The Great Divide in 2005 on 22nd November. Singles released were Justify, The Great Divide and Surround Me.
His second one was to be Somewhere in the Middle of Lust and Love released in 2011. However, it never materialized except a single known as A Prayer For Sunrise. Therefore, Proof of Life became his official second album. It was released in 2013 on 18th September. Exactly a month later, his song titled Slow Suicide went to radio.
Three years later, on May 3, he announced his replacement of Scott Weiland in a band called Art of Anarchy. Scott was the lead singer of the group until his death in 2015 on 3rd December. As their member, the first single’s release was in August 2016 with the title The Madness. Their second but first album with Snapp was released in The Madness. Its release was on 24th March of the following year.
