Judy Sheindlin hails from a Jewish family in Brooklyn, New York City. She was born on the 21st of October, 1942. She was the second child of the four children born to her parents. Her birth name was, Judith Susan Blum. She was married to her first husband, Ronald Levy in 1964, they got divorced in 1976. She married again in 1977. Her second husband was Jerry Sheindlin. She has two biological and three stepchildren.
She graduated from James Madison High school. After finishing her schooling, she went to the American University in Washington DC. Here she got her degree in governance.
